{"id":89,"date":"2010-01-26T10:41:57","date_gmt":"2010-01-26T10:41:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?89"},"modified":"2010-01-26T10:41:57","modified_gmt":"2010-01-26T10:41:57","slug":"army-medic-military-career-is-the-best-thing-ive-ever-done","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/army-medic-military-career-is-the-best-thing-ive-ever-done\/","title":{"rendered":"Army medic: Military career is the best thing I&#8217;ve ever done"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An Army medic from East Lanchashire has revealed that taking up a role in the military is the best decision he has ever made.<\/p>\n<p>Private Matt Riley, who is currently serving with the UK Joint Force Medical Group as a combat medical technician, told the Lancashire Telegraph that he has seen a lot while in Afghanistan and that the experience has been an amazing one.<\/p>\n<p>While danger is never far away, the fact that he is saving the lives of soldiers injured in combat is a massive reward and something which makes him extremely proud.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I never considered a military career until about two years ago.
