Soldiers' wives Teri Edwards and Michelle Wild are to hold a charity ball in aid of forces charity Help for Heroes, it has been announced.<\/p>\n
According to the Liverpool Echo, the pair – who are both married to serving Merseyside soldiers – are helping to raise cash for injured personnel and have also vowed to assist men and women hurt physically or emotionally when serving their country.<\/p>\n
In March, the pair are holding a black tie dinner and ball at the Hillbark Hotel, Royden Park, the Wirral. Tickets for the event are being sold for £45 each or attendees can secure a table of ten for £450.<\/p>\n
Live entertainment from local bands will be provided alongside the meal, as will games and an auction.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, London mayor Boris Johnson has recently spoken about his admiration for serving members of the armed forces while attending a charity banquet City AM reported.<\/p>\n
