It’s a public appearance that wasn’t expected, but it’s one no one will have an objection to. After many weeks of avoiding public gathering, the Queen herself was present to Knight Captain Tom at Windsor Castle. The ceremony took place outdoors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 100-year-old World War II veteran earlier made history by raising over £32 million for the NHS. He walked a 100 laps in his garden, and in doing so did more to help fight the current pandemic than most. He had started out with a simple goal of £1,000 but raised so much more. He has become an inspiration to many in these trying times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
