Albert has previously fought the Nazis back in his prime, and survived being a prisoner of war during WWII. It’s no surprise that he has used his experience as a soldier to fight against the coronavirus. Albert will turn a 100 years old in just a couple of months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The soldier’s grandson told media that he his grandfather as “pretty incredible”. “He’s not only survived the war and being in prison camp, now he’s won the battle with coronavirus,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Albert’s iron willpower came together with the hard work and skill of the nurses to help him get back home. As he left the hospital, the nurses gave him a guard of honour, while maintaining the right amount of distance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
