Single soldiers wishing to hook up with attractive singles through online dating should make sure they use a suitable photograph for their portfolio.<\/p>\n
Writing for ADI News, Mark Whysall noted guys should always make eye contact in their picture, as this can be a useful way of grabbing somebody's attention.<\/p>\n
The expert observed: "You can tell a lot about someone by looking in their eyes and with online dating, you only have the chance to do this through a picture."<\/p>\n
He claimed users should use snapshots that only include them, because people do not want to see images of a person's family and friends.<\/p>\n
Photos that are too revealing should also be avoided, as being dressed inappropriately can often attract the wrong kind of attention.<\/p>\n
In a recent article for The Firsky, Ami Angelowicz recommended individuals should not use generic phrases – such as 'I'm looking for fun' – in their online dating profiles, as they can send out the wrong signals.<\/p>\n
