Heroic soldiers injured while fighting for their country are to benefit from a special celebration of love and romance.

The One Stop Wedding Shop in Eastbourne is hosting a wedding fair to raise money for the Help for Heroes cause, the Eastbourne Herald reports.

A real wedding is to take place at the spectacle – a first for any such get-together in the country – and organisers are hopeful the event will spark a flurry of other marital shows in the future.

They would like married-couples-to-be to attend the showcase prior to their personal celebration, with all donations and collections from exhibitors and visitors going to the injured soldier charity.

Jal Clarke and Nicky Philpott, owners of the Icon Hair Academy in Eastbourne, are the pairing who will be tying the knot on Saturday January 8th.

The Bournemouth Echo recently reported that a trio of friends – Jacey Butler, Shane Taylor and Luke Tiani – are to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Help for Heroes.
