Single soldiers wishing to give online dating a try should endeavour to upload a photograph that is both recent and of good quality, it has been suggested.<\/p>\n
According to Independent.ie, few profiles will receive much attention if a decent picture is not used, so people might want to either ask a friend to take a snapshot especially for the service, or find an image taken in the last six months.<\/p>\n
The website noted the individual whose profile it is, should be the only person in the frame – and pictures where they are not the centre of attention must be avoided.<\/p>\n
It explained: "Front-on shots are the way to go, but remember that a good travel shot may give you and a potential date something to chat about."<\/p>\n
