The tradesmen, including Nigel Goodwin of Rawcliffe, York, will be competing to see who can lay the most bricks in a day, local newspaper the Press reports.<\/p>\n
Getting underway at 10:00 BST tomorrow (October 9th), the men will work non-stop to generate funds for Help for Heroes.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the news source, Ms Goodwin said he aims to lay over 2,000 bricks.<\/p>\n
"I’ll stop for a red bull or something, but that's it," he remarked, adding: "I think the cause will keep me going."<\/p>\n
He has called on local people to come down to the event, which is being held at MKM Building Supplies in Clifton Moor, to support the brickies.<\/p>\n
People around the country are organising events to raise cash for Help for Heroes – which recently celebrated its third birthday – with sponsored bike rides, climbs and walks among the challenges that have been undertaken in recent weeks.<\/p>\n
