A young polo player has vowed to raise money for troops injured while serving their country.<\/p>\n
Toby Addison pledged his support for the Help for Heroes charity after being named the most promising ten-year-old polo competitor in the country at a championship held in Surrey, This is Sussex reports.<\/p>\n
The award has been created by the family of former soldier Lieutenant Colonel Rupert Thorneloe and Toby admitted he was surprised to have been presented with it.<\/p>\n
He said he was going to carry out a number of fundraisers to generate cash for the soldier charity.<\/p>\n
"I'm going to sell Help for Heroes wristbands and I'm going to do sponsored runs because I like running. I'm also going to do a cake sale," the youngster explained.<\/p>\n
Shaun Wilson, a 20-year-old man from Kendal, recently faced his fear of heights and took part in a sponsored bungee jump to raise cash for the cause.<\/p>\n
