A former soldier has taken to the water to raise money for a troops’ charity.<\/p>\n
Ken Timms and his great-nephew Daniel Brown have completed a journey via canoe from Selby to Liverpool to generate funds for Help for Heroes, Look Local reports.<\/p>\n
The pair also aimed to raise cash for Save the Children and were provided with the vessel by Rob Brown and Peter Bridle, both of the Hull and District Canoe Club.<\/p>\n
