An army wife has designed a clothing range in an effort to raise money for service chariAn army wife has designed a clothing range in an effort to raise money for service charities.<\/p>\n
Ellie Butcher – whose husband Matthew is a sergeant in the Rifles – came up with the idea after talking to other families with relatives in the armed forces, the Star reports.<\/p>\n
She is currently producing t-shirts and hooded tops along with fellow army wife Kelly Morris, but has plans to expand to dresses and suits in the near future.<\/p>\n
Of slogans to go on the products, Ms Butcher remarked: "We want to do things like RAF Dad and other things for the families so people can say ‘we’re proud’."<\/p>\n
It is planned that ten per cent of the cash generated will go to army organisations such as Help for Heroes, the source added.<\/p>\n
Daily Telegraph reporter Ian Cowie recently stated Help for Heroes has adopted a method of commission-free fundraising by teaming up with Bmycharity.<\/p>\n
