Of web-based relations, the Oakland University professor and research professor at the University of Michigan remarked: "It has become a very successful way to meet that special someone."<\/p>\n
Ms Orbuch noted anybody who does not know at least one person who has met a husband, wife or partner thanks to an online dating site is in the minority.<\/p>\n
She added more weddings in 2009 took place after the bride and groom met over the web than those between couples who initially met in person.<\/p>\n
The Express and Star recently observed individuals seeking a casual, no-strings relationship would be able to find a suitable mate by turning to the internet.<\/p>\n
