{"id":3193,"date":"2015-09-09T10:59:22","date_gmt":"2015-09-09T10:59:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?3193"},"modified":"2015-09-09T10:59:22","modified_gmt":"2015-09-09T10:59:22","slug":"police-arrest-parrot-for-swearing-at-woman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/police-arrest-parrot-for-swearing-at-woman\/","title":{"rendered":"Police arrest parrot for swearing at woman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A parrot has been arrested after swearing at an 85 year-old woman, it has been revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Janabai Sakharkar, of Maharashtra, India, claimed Hariyal the parrot used obscene language against her, whenever she passed by the house of her stepson Suresh.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the fact that the foul-mouthed bird had the police &quot;rolling on the floors in laughter&quot; the incident still prompted officers to arrest the creature for its bad manners.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Sakharkar was reportedly convinced that Suresh taught the creature to swear at her.<\/p>\n<p>However, according to the Times of India, the parrot was initially smart enough to cease any bad language while in the presence of officers.<\/p>\n<p>One theory put forward by the Times of India is that the parrot temporarily stopped hurling abuses at Janabai because it was in a new surrounding, and in the presence of strangers.<\/p>\n<p>Police claimed that if Suresh had abused Janabai, it is possible the parrot heard him and copied him.<\/p>\n<p>However, a reason behind the bizarre incident may have something to do with the fact there is an ongoing dispute over property going on between Janabai and Suresh.<\/p>\n<p>Following the incident, the parrot was not returned to its original owners and was instead handed over to the Forest Department for rehabilitation.&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"ADNFCR-2867-ID-801799974-ADNFCR\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.directnews.co.uk\/feedtrack\/justcopyright.gif?feedid=2867&amp;itemid=801799974\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A parrot has been arrested after swearing at an 85 year-old woman.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":3500,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-3193","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-lads-mag-for-armed-forces"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.2 -
