{"id":3113,"date":"2015-06-09T19:01:28","date_gmt":"2015-06-09T19:01:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?3113"},"modified":"2015-06-09T19:01:28","modified_gmt":"2015-06-09T19:01:28","slug":"chinese-man-sues-actress-for-staring-at-him-through-his-tv-set","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/chinese-man-sues-actress-for-staring-at-him-through-his-tv-set\/","title":{"rendered":"Chinese man sues actress for staring at him through his TV set"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Chinese man is suing a TV actress after claiming she was staring at him through the television set, it has been reported.<\/p>\n<p>The man said that the movie star Zhao Wei stared at him too intensely through his TV set.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit comes after rules were passed in China which make it more difficult for courts to reject lawsuits.<\/p>\n<p>This has led to an increase in the number of court cases brought forward last month. Lawsuits rose by 29 per cent &nbsp;to just over one million cases, according to the Supreme People's Court.<\/p>\n<p>Under the new system, courts must accept legitimate lawsuits when they are filed or clearly state the reasons for rejecting them.<\/p>\n<p>Complainants can also appeal decisions. The new system has resulted in the Shanghai Pudong New District Court receiving a case against Zhao.<\/p>\n<p>She is one of China's biggest and richest movie stars.<\/p>\n<p>The man who bought the case against her alleged that he suffered from &quot;spiritual damage&quot; as a result of the alleged staring.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit filed by a Shanghai man involves the prime-time TV show &quot;Tiger Mom&quot; in which Zhao plays a really pushy mother who constantly pressures her daughter into doing better at school.<\/p>\n<p>However, the case has sparked fears that the change in the law could spark frivolous lawsuits such as this one.<\/p>\n<p>The Shanghai Pudong New District Court's litigation service hotline reported that a number of cases have already been thrown out because of their frivolity.<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"ADNFCR-2867-ID-801790556-ADNFCR\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.directnews.co.uk\/feedtrack\/justcopyright.gif?feedid=2867&amp;itemid=801790556\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Chinese man is suing a TV actress after claiming she was staring at him through the television set.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":3580,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-3113","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-lads-mag-for-armed-forces"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.2 -
