{"id":3105,"date":"2015-06-01T12:10:18","date_gmt":"2015-06-01T12:10:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?3105"},"modified":"2015-06-01T12:10:18","modified_gmt":"2015-06-01T12:10:18","slug":"british-mum-calls-cops-after-sexual-assault-by-monkeys","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/british-mum-calls-cops-after-sexual-assault-by-monkeys\/","title":{"rendered":"British mum calls cops after sexual assault by monkeys"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A British mother has filed sexual assault charges in Gibraltar against two monkeys after accusing them of assaulting her.<\/p>\n<p>Melissa Hart, 23 from Macclesfield said she was attacked by the monkeys after visiting the Rock on a day trip from Marbella.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Hart, who was wearing a bikini at the time said she had approached the monkeys, when two of them began to pull at her clothes and her hair.<\/p>\n<p>She said that they pawed her in her most intimate areas and then pulled her bikini top off.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of helping, she explained that the other tourists stood around laughing and did nothing to try and stop the attack.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview published by Olive Press, she explained: &quot;I was being sexually assaulted and these people all thought it was a great joke&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Her screams did however attract the attention of a warden, who managed to wrestle the animals from her. After her ordeal, she then went to make a complaint with the police.<\/p>\n<p>However, the police then explained to her that animals cannot be held criminally responsible for their actions.<\/p>\n<p>It is not the first time that a tourist has been attacked by Barbary Macaques monkeys.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Stuart Gravenell, 53, had his arm savaged by one of the creatures after going to see them with his son.<\/p>\n<p>The monkey was over three foot tall and had gone to latch his jaws onto him as he walked through a nature reserve.<\/p>\n<p>According to doctors in Gibraltar, it was one of the worst injuries they had ever seen.<\/p>\n<p>The man was left with a pronounced loss of feeling in his arm.<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"ADNFCR-2867-ID-801789441-ADNFCR\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.directnews.co.uk\/feedtrack\/justcopyright.gif?feedid=2867&amp;itemid=801789441\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>British mother has filed sexual assault charges in Gibraltar against two monkeys after accusing them of assaulting her.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":3588,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-3105","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-lads-mag-for-armed-forces"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.2 -
