These three careers are all entries on a new top ten, compiled through research and a public poll, of Brtain's most unusual ways to earn a living.<\/p>\n
Raven master actually came out at number one in the list, which came to light in the wake of research commissioned by the TV channel Yesterday in celebration of Secrets of Britain, a new TV series.<\/p>\n
London Dungeons Actor came at two on the list, with Swan Marker at three, professional wing walker at four and Queens piper at five.<\/p>\n
The sixth most unusual job option is professional tea taster, according to the list.<\/p>\n
Then there's crown jeweller, Gherkin window cleaner, Beefeater and MI5 inteligence officer rounding off the ten-strong chart. <\/p>\n
Researchers found unusual occupations then asked a panel of 2,000 people to rate their oddness – and that's how the top ten was created.<\/p>\n
The Raven Master is someone who takes care of ravens at the Tower of London.<\/p>\n
The Swan Marker, on the other hand – a role currently taken by a man called David Barber – takes responsibility for every UK swan, doing things like organising a River Thames Swan Upping and helping to keep track of how healthy the swan population is.<\/p>\n
Secrets of Britain focuses on a British institution every week, with episodes on the Secret Service, Tower of London and London Underground, for example.<\/p>\n
