Diana Vilbert, writing for The Frisky, says that if someone describes themselves as "just an average guy" it makes them sound uninteresting. <\/p>\n
She suggests single soldiers should be selling themselves on the internet so that potential partners will have a topic of conversation to strike up with them.<\/p>\n
Additionally, Ms Vilbert states that people without profile pictures on social networking sites should be treated with caution, while those with only a limited number of photos all displaying the same pose should also be avoided. <\/p>\n
"There’s a reason he has nine pictures where he’s smiling with his mouth closed. It’s because he has extra teeth where teeth don’t belong. Trust me," she explains. <\/p>\n
Researchers at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Essex recently discovered that looks do matter in the internet dating environment, as a study revealed that those with plenty of options tended to choose partners who were physically attractive, NPR reported. <\/p>\n
