Police have moved to charge a man in the US for entering a bar with a tiger by his side.<\/p>\n

John Basile, 57, is said to have casually strolled into Uncle Richie's Bar in Lockport, Illinois on February 15th with the wild animal alongside him.<\/p>\n

While some people thought the tiger cub was cute and should be welcomed at the bar, the police did not subscribe to such a view.<\/p>\n

The animal belongs to Mr Basile's Big Run Wolf Ranch, an animal rescue centre that has a license from the federal government.<\/p>\n

Speaking of the incident in Lockport, witness Frances Escoe said: "There were people in their cars shouting like, 'Is that a tiger? Is that a tiger?' going over the Ninth Street Bridge?"<\/p>\n
