{"id":2656,"date":"2014-02-12T17:22:42","date_gmt":"2014-02-12T17:22:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?2656"},"modified":"2014-02-12T17:22:42","modified_gmt":"2014-02-12T17:22:42","slug":"football-fan-hasnt-missed-a-match-in-24-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/football-fan-hasnt-missed-a-match-in-24-years\/","title":{"rendered":"Football fan &#8216;hasn&#8217;t missed a match in 24 years&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A football supporter has recorded a run of attendance spanning 24 years and more than 1,300 consecutive games.<\/p>\n<p>Southend United fanatic Phil Cox has not missed a match involving the League Two side since a trip to Grimsby Town in 1989.<\/p>\n<p>Data analyst Phil estimates he has spent in the region of &pound;28,000 following his beloved Shrimpers up and down the country for more than two decades.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I've spent around &pound;1,000 already this season and it keeps getting more and more expensive.
