Several years ago Britons could be forgiven for feeling a little embarrassed about the idea of using online dating sites in order to find a new partner.<\/p>\n
There was certainly a stigma attached to the process in the period before it became very much the norm for thousands of singletons.<\/p>\n
Online dater Giuseppe Labellarte has written a blog for the Nottingham Post in which he urged people to ignore any stereotypical views of web dating that may still exist.<\/p>\n
He suggested any views in 2014 are "unadulterated prejudiced nonsense", as online dating is the inevitable consequence of the internet changing how people go about pursuing new relationships.<\/p>\n
"With technology woven into the fabric of our day-to-day lives, online dating should be viewed as a legitimate place as any to look for love," Mr Labellarte stated.<\/p>\n
It certainly seems to have worked a treat for the man from West Bridgford, as he is in a happy relationship with a partner he met online.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
