A man in Malvern has done his bit for charity by undertaking a 'class marathon' that saw him attend every exercise session at a local gym for a week.

Antony Lampitt, 27, took part in all the classes on the schedule at PF2 Health Club, burning 15,000 calories and raising more than £300 in the process, reports the Malvern Gazette.

He did so much exercise during the week in question that he had to over-eat just to help balance his body against the calories he was losing.

"I asked the instructor and they said no-one had ever done all the classes in a week – they thought I was mad," Mr Lampitt explained.

He told how he had to stock up on beef, pasta and chicken in order to make up for the calories his body was burning off.

All of the money raised through his multiple spinning, crossfit, bodypump and tabata classes will now be donated to Help for Heroes.
