There are many things that might put people off the idea of dating someone, and it seems height is a major influence in such a decision.<\/p>\n
It goes without saying there is nothing you can do about how tall you are, so if you are a little vertically challenged it might be a good idea to focus on chatting only to other short people.<\/p>\n
New research by American site AYI.com found female online daters in New York tend to have issues with short men.<\/p>\n
There is just a 1.2 per cent chance that a man who is under 5ft 9in will be contacted by a women from Manhattan or the Bronx.<\/p>\n
Josh Fishcer, who led the study, told the New York Post: "People in bigger cities have more options and tend to be pickier."<\/p>\n
As such, this may also be the case in large UK cities such as London, so focusing on people of a similar height may be a wise move.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
