{"id":2493,"date":"2013-11-06T16:58:18","date_gmt":"2013-11-06T16:58:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?2493"},"modified":"2013-11-06T16:58:18","modified_gmt":"2013-11-06T16:58:18","slug":"family-finds-a-python-in-the-oven","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/family-finds-a-python-in-the-oven\/","title":{"rendered":"Family finds a python in the oven"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A family was stunned to find a python in their oven recently, only discovering the snake by accident as they tried to cook a meal.<\/p>\n<p>Karen Jackson, 41, from Blyth in Northumberland had recently had a brand new oven fitted when she was alerted to the attention of the reptile by her daughter.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Everything was fine and we used it every day without any problems. Then on Monday I heard my daughter scream. I ran to the oven and saw this snake slithering around,&quot; she told Metro.<\/p>\n<p>Only two hours before her daughter came across the snake, Ms Jackson had used the oven herself to cook a pizza.<\/p>\n<p>Her partner Chris Petrou, 39, said the family had no idea about snakes so were unable to work out if the creature was poisonous.<\/p>\n<p>It was soon removed by a neighbour who keeps snakes and after contacting the oven supplier, the reptile was found to be a factory worker's stepdaughter's pet.<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"ADNFCR-2867-ID-801657899-ADNFCR\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.directnews.co.uk\/feedtrack\/justcopyright.gif?feedid=2867&amp;itemid=801657899\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One family in Northumberland got the shock of their lives while cooking recently.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":4199,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2493","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-lads-mag-for-armed-forces"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.2 -
