{"id":2463,"date":"2013-10-17T17:16:46","date_gmt":"2013-10-17T17:16:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?2463"},"modified":"2013-10-17T17:16:46","modified_gmt":"2013-10-17T17:16:46","slug":"woman-spends-three-hours-reviving-blind-chicken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/woman-spends-three-hours-reviving-blind-chicken\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman spends three hours reviving blind chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A woman spent three hours trying to revive a chicken before she eventually brought the bird back to life.<\/p>\n<p>Chooky Wooky, who is blind, was overpowered by a gust of wind and send tumbling into a swimming pool recently.<\/p>\n<p>Roberta Rapo and her daughter witnessed the accident, which left the chicken not breathing.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Chooky Wooky was floating in the water as stiff as a board. My daughter, Rayna, couldn't stop crying,&quot; Ms Rapo explained.<\/p>\n<p>Knowing her daughter had a special bond with the bird, she decided to begin attempts to resuscitate the bird.<\/p>\n<p>Some friends were at the house at the time and they soon left as they thought Ms Rapo was &quot;crazy&quot;, but she was adamant she could not let her die.<\/p>\n<p>She admitted she took great delight in texting her friends to inform them of her success three hours later once Chooky Wooky had been saved.<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"ADNFCR-2867-ID-801650841-ADNFCR\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.directnews.co.uk\/feedtrack\/justcopyright.gif?feedid=2867&amp;itemid=801650841\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A chicken was brought back to life by a quick-thinking mother.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":4229,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2463","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-lads-mag-for-armed-forces"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.2 -
