{"id":2236,"date":"2013-06-07T15:34:46","date_gmt":"2013-06-07T15:34:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?2236"},"modified":"2013-06-07T15:34:46","modified_gmt":"2013-06-07T15:34:46","slug":"policeman-joins-busker-for-popular-rendition-of-wonderwall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/policeman-joins-busker-for-popular-rendition-of-wonderwall\/","title":{"rendered":"Policeman joins busker for popular rendition of Wonderwall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Members of the public out shopping in Birmingham recently were surprised to find a policeman singing his heart out alongside a busker in the city centre.<\/p>\n<p>Videos taken by passers-by show PC Ian Northcott indulging in a rendition of Wonderwall by Oasis after picking up a busker's guitar.<\/p>\n<p>The clip has since become a hit on YouTube, with many people stunned by the officer's confidence, although he later admitted it is not the first time he has teamed up with a busker for an impromptu performance.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;It was such a lovely day, everyone seemed happy, it just felt such a natural thing to do. Noel would have been proud I hope,&quot; PC Northcott said, in reference to Oasis creator Noel Gallagher.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to explain that the police are always looking for new ways to &quot;break down barriers&quot; between themselves and members of the public and this seems to have been one.<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"ADNFCR-2867-ID-801596269-ADNFCR\"
