{"id":2190,"date":"2013-05-15T15:12:32","date_gmt":"2013-05-15T15:12:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?2190"},"modified":"2013-05-15T15:12:32","modified_gmt":"2013-05-15T15:12:32","slug":"hikers-aiming-to-raise-5000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/hikers-aiming-to-raise-5000\/","title":{"rendered":"Hikers aiming to raise \u00a35,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A group of hikers are hoping to raise in excess of &pound;5,000 as a result of their challenge to walk 230 miles from Newmarket to North Yorkshire.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin Knights is leading a team of ten people on the hike, which will be completed over 12 days and will be in aid of military charity Help for Heroes, reports the Newmarket Journal.<\/p>\n<p>The group has already managed to secure more than &pound;2,600 in donations for their gruelling trek, and they hope to double that before it takes place on Sunday (May 19th).<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We are hoping to raise a minimum of &pound;500 per person.
