A small number of people are always ready to give the latest trendy activity a go in a bid to get the adrenaline pumping, but for some the prospect of hurtling down a mountain on a unicycle may be just too much to bear.<\/p>\n
However, that is exactly what a group of thrill-seekers are now doing for fun, with mountains and cliff faces providing the perfect setting for their pursuit.<\/p>\n
Adrenaline junkies crash down the rocks while pedalling and pivoting as much as possible, all the while using their custom-made unicycles.<\/p>\n
Kevin Callaby, 34, from Falmouth in Cornwall said: "Mountain unicycling is described as a cross between mountain biking and rodeo riding, and that's absolutely spot on."<\/p>\n
He went on to suggest there is actually only a very small chance of anybody being injured during the activity, as unlike with normal bicycles or skis, the legs are not caught up in any machinery.
