A family in Shropshire are having their lives ruined by a particularly angry pheasant, which has been known to launch a number of attacks on them.

The bird, named Phil, has waited outside the home of Sally-Ann Hudson and her loved ones and launches itself at them when they leave.

Phil has even been spotted chasing her car down the road as she drives away from the property, while he has also headbutted her windows.

Ms Hudson explained: "I have never encountered a pheasant like him and am quite sure this is not normal pheasant behaviour. They are normally just rather dopey birds."

Paul North from the World Pheasant Association said he thinks Phil sees Ms Hudson as a rival during mating season, leading to his erratic behaviour.

She remains confused as to why Phil has chosen to pick on her house, as she is the only person affected in the entire street.
