{"id":2126,"date":"2013-04-11T13:44:15","date_gmt":"2013-04-11T13:44:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?2126"},"modified":"2013-04-11T13:44:15","modified_gmt":"2013-04-11T13:44:15","slug":"dancing-club-raises-8000-for-help-for-heroes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/dancing-club-raises-8000-for-help-for-heroes\/","title":{"rendered":"Dancing club raises \u00a38,000 for Help for Heroes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dancers at a club in Tilehurst have come together to raise a significant amount of cash for military charity Help for Heroes.<\/p>\n<p>Denton Dancing and Social Club held a number of fundraising events last year and managed to put together about &pound;8,000 in the process, reports the Reading Post.<\/p>\n<p>It means the club has now donated in the region of &pound;32,000 to the charity over the last four years, as a result of a number of fundraisers.<\/p>\n<p>Molly Denton, whose daughter Lorraine was killed in 1979, leading to the beginning of the dancing club in her memory, said: &quot;From our sadness we have tried to bring happiness to other people.
