{"id":2107,"date":"2013-04-02T14:00:46","date_gmt":"2013-04-02T14:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?2107"},"modified":"2013-04-02T14:00:46","modified_gmt":"2013-04-02T14:00:46","slug":"truck-pullers-raise-3000-for-help-for-heroes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/truck-pullers-raise-3000-for-help-for-heroes\/","title":{"rendered":"Truck pullers raise \u00a33,000 for Help for Heroes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A team of volunteers in Bexley raised more than &pound;3,000 for Help for Heroes after taking part in a special truck pulling contest.<\/p>\n<p> This is Local London has told how the team of 24 individuals dragged a 32-tonne army truck for two miles in a bid to raise cash for the military charity.<\/p>\n<p> It took more than an hour to complete the task and more than 200 people turned up to watch, with some &pound;3,145 generated for the charity in the process.<\/p>\n<p> Organiser and truck puller Barry Saunders said: &quot;It was mega hard, much more difficult than I thought it was going to be.
