People who are taking the modern step of looking for love on the internet have been warned of one or two things they should look out for.<\/p>\n
Cara Mason, writing for Female First, has named fake photographs, incomplete profiles and 'too good to be true' descriptions as items that should sound alarm bells.<\/p>\n
She noted that model shots or suggestive images are certainly a worry, as most genuine people will instead opt for photographs taken in normal surroundings.<\/p>\n
Prospective dates who add very little information to their profiles should also be treated with suspicion, as this is a "warning sign that something is not right".<\/p>\n
It is also worth considering the spelling found within a profile, as foreign scammers are likely to have used a poor translation tool.<\/p>\n
