Rocker Duff McKagan has played a one-off special gig for Help for Heroes (H4H).

The musician, who is best known as a member of Guns N' Roses, played an exclusive set for just five people in London yesterday (October 29th).

All of the men invited along to the event are soldiers and it gave McKagan the opportunity to thank them for their efforts with the impromptu performance at Gibson studios.

The 48-year-old said: "These guys are incredible. I'm scared performing for such a small crowd. I played Wembley last night, but this is much scarier."

McKagan, who has also been part of the supergroup Velvet Revolver, was happy to support H4H, which is a non-profit foundation that seeks to help wounded servicemen and women and recently celebrated its fifth anniversary.

The bassist had taken to the stage the night before as part of Alice Cooper's latest tour, which marks the third year in a row he has visited the UK.
