I used to love the cartoon Popeye when I was growing up.

When his back was up against the wall, he would eat a can of spinach and gain super strength to get out of the situation.

But one man seems to have taken his love for the sailor too far, as his biceps measure an incredible 31 ins.

Moustafa Ismail has muscles the size of many men's waists and he works out twice a day everyday to keep them in shape.

"People always say you remind me of Popeye the sailor man. This makes me laugh. The truth is I don't have spinach in my diet. I can't stand the stuff," Mr Ismail stated.

In order to maintain these massive arms, the 24-year-old consumes 1.4kg of chicken, 500g of steak or fish and three litres of protein shakes every day.

Unsurprisingly, Mr Ismail has made his way into the Guinness World Records book for the size of his biceps.
