finds live frog in her salad bag"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Choosing the healthy option in the supermarket is usually a good idea.<\/p>\n<p>However, a mother of three got more than she bargained for after buying a mixed salad bag from Waitrose.<\/p>\n<p>As Christina Carrington was preparing dinner with her youngest daughter, they made the shocking discovery that there was a frog in the lettuce.<\/p>\n<p>What makes the situation even worse is that fact that Ms Carrington had already munched some of the salad leaves earlier in the day.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I'm absolutely mortified to think I ate the leaves at lunch time when clearly the frog had been in the same bag,&quot; she added.<\/p>\n<p>Unsurprisingly, Waitrose were swift to apologise for the isolated incident and said measures are being introduced to make sure the problem doesn't happen again.<\/p>\n<p>It is not known how the frog was able to stay alive despite being in the closed bag for over 24 hours, but I'm sure the
