A Bratton cyclist is going to tackle a 450 km ride to raise money for Help for Heroes (H4H).<\/p>\n
Evan Fuery is planning to make his way from St Foy in the Alps to Nice and aims to collect enough cash for a hydrotherapy wing at Tedworth House, This is Wiltshire reports.<\/p>\n
It promises to be an arduous task, as there will be 27,500ft of climbing – the equivalent of Mount Everest.<\/p>\n
"Our combined efforts will help provide a much-needed facility for our recovering heroes," Mr Fuery said.<\/p>\n
He has also organised a talk that will take place at All Hallows School in Cranmore featuring two people who have remarkable stories to tell.<\/p>\n
Among those appearing at the event are Mark Langridge – who was part of the 2011 Scott-Amundsen Centenary Race.<\/p>\n
Sundeep Dhillon is also going to be speaking and he is the youngest person in the world to climb the highest peaks in seven continents.<\/p>\n
