The cold snap which swept across the UK recently was a real passion killer for many soldiers stationed here.<\/p>\n
According to research by Gocompare,com 17 per cent of people have seen their sex lives go down hill because of the big freeze, with nearly a fifth of Brits complaining that they enjoyed nookie less than once a week over the winter period.<\/p>\n
More than half took more blankets to the bedroom, with a further 52 per cent donning pyjamas or sleepwear before catching 40 winks.<\/p>\n
Mark Greening, head of utilities at the price comparison site, said: "It seems the cold weather has meant many of us have been reduced to hibernating under the duvet and putting extra layers on rather than stripping off."<\/p>\n
Paula Hall, sexual and relationship psychotherapist at Relate, recently stated that couples need to make sex a priority and that both need to feel sexually self-confident if they want fireworks between the sheets.<\/p>\n
