People take an average of 14 dates to tell each other that they love them, a new survey has found.<\/p>\n
Typically, couples will go out twice a week, which means it takes them seven weeks to feel they are ready to say the big three words, the Daily Mail reports. <\/p>\n
Other findings about the dating process include that after seven days people will usually share their first kiss, while four dates is the average time they wait before having sex.<\/p>\n
Liya Step, a 22-year-old student who has uses online dating websites, said: "Obviously all relationships are different but these first-time figures look right for me and my girlfriends."<\/p>\n
She thinks it is possible to get to know a man fairly well after just four dates, but there is no point introducing him to friends until a woman is confident their is real chemistry between the pair.<\/p>\n
Ms Step added her parents only meet fellas she is "deadly serious" about.<\/p>\n
