{"id":1650,"date":"2012-07-24T09:52:41","date_gmt":"2012-07-24T09:52:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?1650"},"modified":"2012-07-24T09:52:41","modified_gmt":"2012-07-24T09:52:41","slug":"cubans-make-worlds-largest-daiquiri","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/cubans-make-worlds-largest-daiquiri\/","title":{"rendered":"Cubans make world&#8217;s largest daiquiri"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>People are always looking to get into the Guinness World Records Book.<\/p>\n<p>The recognition that comes with such a feat can be very enjoyable and a team of mixologists from Cuba are keen to have their effort validated.<\/p>\n<p>Some ten bartenders at El Floridita in Old Havana have created the world's largest daiquiri cocktail in honour of the tavern's most famous customer &ndash; novelist Ernest Hemingway.<\/p>\n<p>The concoction was 270 litres, came in a 6.5 ft-tall cocktail glass and required 65 people to work on it.<\/p>\n<p>Manager of the bar Anders Aranciba said: &quot;It is a dream that we have wanted to make reality for more than a year.
