{"id":1561,"date":"2012-05-24T10:09:19","date_gmt":"2012-05-24T10:09:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/p=?1561"},"modified":"2012-05-24T10:09:19","modified_gmt":"2012-05-24T10:09:19","slug":"us-family-has-two-buffalo-as-pets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forcespenpals.net\/gb\/news\/us-family-has-two-buffalo-as-pets\/","title":{"rendered":"US family has two buffalo as pets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pets can be great companions for people who live on their own and might be a tremendous addition to a family.<\/p>\n<p>Typically, individuals opt for cats or dogs, but one family in the US has a slightly more out-there approach.<\/p>\n<p>RC Bridges and his wife Sherron share their home with two buffalo.<\/p>\n<p>It means their house can get pretty crowded, as the two animals weigh a combined 233 stone.<\/p>\n<p>While it is not quite a herd, there is no denying this is a strange pet choice and it has earned Mr Bridges the name of Buffalo Whisperer.<\/p>\n<p>Such is the love the pair have for the animals, one of them was best man as they recently renewed their vows.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Bridges told ABC News: &quot;Well, he just sat up there [looking] all nice and pretty.
