The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and the Forces Children's Trust are set to benefit from a charity motorbike ride.<\/p>\n
A group of riders will travel from Land's End to John O'Groats on two wheels, the Somerset County Gazette reports.<\/p>\n
The 17-strong collective have not set themselves a specific fundraising target, but hope to collect a lot.<\/p>\n
Toni Ellison, who is planning to ride pillion on her father's motorcycle, told the paper: "Both charities do a lot of good work in supporting our troops and their families and they need all the money we can raise in order to continue to do this work."<\/p>\n
In total, the group will be covering over 1,000 miles in order to collect money for the good causes.<\/p>\n
The Forces Children's Trust has a number of famous patrons, including Dragons' Den star Duncan Bannatyne, singer Tony Hadley, actor Damien Lewis and snooker player John Virgo.<\/p>\n
