and Away character tries online dating"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The rising popularity of online dating has seen the activity make its way into a storyline in one of Australia's best-loved soaps.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the country's TV Week magazine, actress Ada Nicodemou revealed her character in Home and Away Leah Patterson-Baker will look for love via the web after having her heart broken by a former partner.<\/p>\n<p>Nicodemou explained Leah was encouraged to give internet courtship a go by her friend Roo, who said the experience would be &quot;a bit of fun&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>On the date, Leah &ndash; who is in an emotional state and has not eaten enough &ndash; finds herself drinking a little too much and winding up drunk.<\/p>\n<p>Nicodemou said: &quot;It's quite funny, as Leah is such a good person who very rarely lets her hair down and is not usually out of control like this.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>The news comes after fellow famous face Sinead O'Connor revealed she is trying
