Batman is definitely one of the coolest superheroes around.

Just think how much fun you could have being the Caped Crusader and living a double life as mega-rich Bruce Wayne.

However, one man in the US has shown the rather less glamorous side of the job, as he was given a ticket after driving in full Batman attire.

Lenny B Robinson covered up his number plates with a Batmobile logo, which saw him pulled over by the police.

Mr Robinson has been dressing up as the Dark Knight for ten years and he visits children's hospitals across Montgomery County in Maryland to lift the spirits of the kids.

He told the Washington Post: "Eventually, it sinks in and you become him. It feels like I have a responsibility that's beyond a normal person."

At least if any trouble breaks out when he's at the hospitals, he can get some of his gadgets out and deal with it.
