Austrian cuts off foot to avoid employment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An Austrian man has shown tremendous dedication towards being unemployed.<\/p>\n<p>The 56-year-old was apparently worried about having to go back to work so much that he cut off his left foot with a mechanical saw, Austrian broadcaster ORF reports.<\/p>\n<p>He then threw the limb into a heated oven and hobbled into his garage as he waited on an ambulance to come.<\/p>\n<p>Local police chief Franz Fasching stated: &quot;'The foot was taken the hospital but it was so badly burned that it cannot be sewn back on.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>The man had been due to undergo a health check with the labour department only hours after he chopped off the leg.<\/p>\n<p>It's a particularly gory way to stop yourself from having to work and I bet he regretted his move the next day when he tried to get up.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from anything else, the poor sod could have ended up bleeding to death if he wasn't
