How much fun would it be if you could go flying in your car?

It would certainly make for a novel experience and would be very handy if there was traffic on the road.

For the princely sum of £800,000 people can get this experience as an Aerocar is up for auction.

Although the vehicle was built back in the 1950s, there is still a lot of interest in the collector's edition.

In the air, people will be able to travel at over 100 mph – which could make the commute to work much quicker.

There are only thought to be five or six of the vehicles in the world and this explains why there is such a demand for them.

If I had the money, I'd snap up the machine as it sounds like it would be amazing, although if you're in a rush getting parked could be a bit tricky.
