Mile Salute collects cash for military charities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Square Mile Salute took place last night (February 22nd) as money was raised for various armed forces charities.<\/p>\n<p>Help for Heroes, ABF The Soldiers' Charity, the Royal British Legion and the Household Cavalry Operational Casualties Fund are all set to benefit from the evening.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the top chefs in the country cooked a six-course meal for the cream of London's business talent at the Guildhall in the capital.<\/p>\n<p>Raymond Blanc &ndash; who owns the Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons &ndash; gave one of the keynote speeches at the event.<\/p>\n<p>Christian Garcia &ndash; chef to Prince Albert of Monaco &ndash; Bernhard Mayer of The Savoy and John Williams from The Ritz London were some of the cooks who displayed their talents.<\/p>\n<p>It is the third year in a row the event has been held and a number of prizes were also auctioned off, including a four-night stay at the
