Do you consider yourself to be a bit of a daredevil?<\/p>\n
If you do, I reckon you'll still have to go some way to match Felix Baumgartner.<\/p>\n
The Austrian thrill seeker is hoping to break the world record for the highest skydive by dropping from 120,000 feet.<\/p>\n
To give you an indication of how high up that is, Mount Everest is around 29,000 ft and commercial aircrafts usually fly at 35,000 ft.<\/p>\n
Baumgartner has spent five years developing a special suit that can handle the forces and pressure he will face.<\/p>\n
If the stunt does not go off successfully, then his life could be in danger.<\/p>\n
You have to take your hat off to someone who has this kind of dedication and I hope for his sake that everything works out well.<\/p>\n
The current freefall record is held by Joe Kittinger, who leapt 100,000 ft in 1960.<\/p>\n
