Internet dating can help people who have previously been unlucky in love.<\/p>\n
Cathy Comerford did not meet Mr Right until she was in her 40s after a string of ill-fated relationships.<\/p>\n
Writing in the Guardian, she observed she dated one man for seven years and another for three, before she decided to go online to find someone special.<\/p>\n
After about ten first dates, she met a man who seemed to tick the majority of the boxes and after a long-ish courtship, the pair eventually married and had a son.<\/p>\n
Ms Comerford remarked that after a while she became very good at reading through online profiles in order to find someone she was interested in.<\/p>\n
The female insists that a picture cannot tell people everything they need to know, but messages should be clear and tactful.<\/p>\n
Chrissy Richman, director of thelifechangepeople.com, recently encouraged people to pick an activity that will break the ice for a first date.<\/p>\n
