When it comes to females, they employ a number of different ways to attract the opposite sex.<\/p>\n
Flirting is part and parcel of the game, however, I never thought I would see a giant panda employing these methods.<\/p>\n
Sweetie – who is on loan from the Chinese government to Edinburgh Zoo – has been seen giving amorous glances to her male counterpart Sunshine.<\/p>\n
The zoo hopes the two creatures mate and have some pandas of their own and this doesn't look like it's going to be a problem.<\/p>\n
Edinburgh Zoo chief executive Hugh Roberts told the Metro that: "She calls out for him but, when he looks over, she pretends not to be interested and he wanders off to start eating again."<\/p>\n
He added this shows that the two animals are interested in each other and so some baby making could well be on the cards.<\/p>\n
All they need now is some candles, ambient lighting and a bit of Barry White on in the background.<\/p>\n
