This assertion was made by relationship psychologist Paula Hall and it may be of interest to those looking to date British soldiers.<\/p>\n
She noted that provided "both of you are equally committed to the relationship", then the challenges they will face can be overcome.<\/p>\n
"The most important thing is to talk about ways that you can keep in touch," Ms Hall remarked.<\/p>\n
Key to making the courtship work is planning well in advance when and where to meet up.<\/p>\n
Ms Hall noted that if both people involved in the relationship are open-minded, the distance can actually be beneficial to the entire process.<\/p>\n
It comes after John Rushton stated individuals should not be afraid to jump straight into it if they feel a connection.<\/p>\n
He added laying the cards on the line is the best way to proceed.<\/p>\n
