trek 60 miles across Sahara for charity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two cousins from Box in Wiltshire have completed a 60-mile charity trek across the Sahara Desert.<\/p>\n<p>Abi and Harriet Fisher collected over &pound;3,000 in sponsorship and are hoping to get more now they have finished their arduous journey, the Stroud Life reports.<\/p>\n<p>All of the money raised will go to Help for Heroes &ndash; which can count Jeremy Clarkson and Ross Kemp among its patrons &ndash; and the girls completed the journey with a number of ex-soldiers.<\/p>\n<p>The main reason they decided to take part was to &quot;do our bit for the boys&quot;, Abi Fisher stated.<\/p>\n<p>She added it had been a &quot;privilege&quot; to spend time with Simon Brown, who lost his vision when rescuing fellow servicemen in Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>The Fishers come from a military family, with their grandfather a former commander of the Gurkhas and Abi's brother training to be a Royal Marine.<\/p>\n<p>Temperatures ranged from 40
